Dr. Caitlin McArthur, assistant Professor in the School of Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University recently co-authored a chapter in the book COVID-19, Frontline Responders and Mental Health: A Playbook for Delivering Resilient Public Health Systems Post-Pandemic. Her chapter touched on how the pandemic affected the mental health of residents in long-term care homes. She explains that “the pandemic exposed many existing cracks in the LTC setting, but also provided opportunities for creative strategies to be tested”.
