Do you provide rehabilitation services to individuals with dementia?
Care Approaches in Rehabilitation for Effective Support for Dementia (CARES-D) uses evidence-based information to generate awareness, share knowledge, and inform decision-making for physiotherapists working with individuals with dementia.
We want to analyze the effectiveness of CARES-D for rehabilitation professional on learner knowledge, attitudes, and confidence, attitudes about dementia.

We want to hear from physiotherapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapy assistants, occupational therapy assistants, and kinesiologists who are:
- Practicing in Canada with 6 months of experience
- Working with individuals with dementia
- Working in any setting
Participants will be asked to:
- Complete a few online questionnaires
- One about your background before the course (15 minutes)
- Three about your confidence, attitude and knowledge of dementia before and after the course (45 minutes)
- Complete the Care Approaches in Rehabilitation for Effective Support for Dementia (CARES-D) course and the corresponding workbook
- Online content modules and course feedback survey (6.5 hours)
The entire study will take approximately 7.5 hours to complete.
